DLA Piper's second Global Women’s Leadership Summit kicked off last night with a dinner reception attended by 200 clients and guests of the firm. Attendees enjoyed a dynamic discussion between Virginia Delegate Barbara Comstock and former Maryland Lieutenant Governor and US Deputy Assistant Attorney General Kathleen Kennedy Townsend, and moderator Thomson Reuters Digital Editor Chrystia Freeland. The three discussed the immediate ramifications of last week’s November 2012 US elections on the corporate and finance world, as well as the economic and business issues most likely to arise following the elections.
This morning's keynote address by former Xerox Corporation Chairman and CEO Anne Mulcahy and DLA Piper partner and incoming US Co-Managing Partner Stasia Kelly is under way so please check back shortly for a related post.
